Doug has been a lawyer since 1974, at first in Vancouver and since 1988 in Abbotsford. He is a litigator who does lawsuits at all levels of our courts. He deals with most kinds of disputes including partnership, employment, and agricultural landlord/tenant disputes. He deals with estate, contract and personal injury claims. Doug was appointed as a Queen's Counsel in 2001 and is a chartered arbitrator. He is a member of many community organizations, has served as President of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, and currently is Chancellor of the Anglican Provincial Synod of British Columbia. He walks as much as he can for pleasure and exercise. His greatest delights are his spouse and two daughters.

Marc was called to the B.C. bar in 2006. He represents clients at all levels of British Columbia's courts including the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. Marc's litigation practice includes representing clients in wills and estates disputes, property disputes (including failed real estate transactions or negligence/nuisance claims), defamation or breach of privacy complaints, corporate/commercial disputes, employment disputes, and personal injury claims.

Marc is currently a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C., the Fraser Valley Bar Association, and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.

Marc is currently a director of the Abbotsford Chamber Commerce. From 2008 to 2010 he served as President of the Abbotsford and District Bar Association. Marc also serves with Access Pro Bono B.C. and Abbotsford Community Services to provide pro bono legal services to those who cannot afford a lawyer.

Marc enjoys spending time with his family, the law, and training in Brazilian Jujitsu. Marc lives in Abbotsford with his spouse and two daughters.

Deborah graduated in 1990 with a degree in criminology from Simon Fraser University. She received her diploma as a paralegal from Capilano College in 1993. Deborah has been with MacAdams Law Firm for 16+ years. She assists Doug and Marc with all litigation matters. Her primary focus is on personal injury claims on behalf of the injured and is the primary contact person on our personal injury files. She is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. Deborah and her spouse support their sons in their school, athletic and cultural activities. She has learned the joys of camping, even in the rain.
